The quality of the Firm's ability to effectively advocate for individual employees is enhanced by our experience representing employers. The Firm currently serves as Special Litigation Counsel for the City of Newark and represents the City of Newark and its agencies and employees in a wide variety of employment related lawsuits, including the Mayor, Police Director, Deputy Police Chief, and various other superior and rank-and-file officers. The Firm's experience in such representation provides invaluable perspectives in our representation of private individuals in employment related disputes. We are effectively able to both assess and value a matter that comes before us for consideration, as well as reasonably anticipate strategies and outcomes for our private clients.

Among the Firm's more notable employment law victories was the matter of Rathour vs. New York City Police Department, a precedent setting settlement which received national media attention, and Kaur vs. National Wholesale Liquidators, which resulted in a $255,000 settlement for a class of claimants alleging sexual harassment and racial discrimination. Representative examples of the Firm's prior experience in employment matters includes representation of a corporate executive in connection with an internal corporate investigation; representation of an employee in a federal criminal investigation involving a multi-national corporation; representation of a group of physicians in contractual negotiations with hospital; and regular prosecution and defense representation in numerous cases involving allegations of employment discrimination.
