Biography
James Beal has a broad civil practice. He represents clients in matters involving personal injury, intentional torts, commercial and partnership disputes, breach of contract, insurance claims, among others. In addition to his civil litigation practice, James regularly represents and advises clients in probate administration and estate planning. James has resolved numerous cases through trial and appeal; and through arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. In his personal injury practice, James primarily represents plaintiffs, but has successfully represented defendants who are either uninsured or in relation to coverage disputes with their respective insurance provider. Throughout his career, James has successfully represented numerous individuals in civil lawsuits which arise out of allegedly fraudulent or criminal acts, and is regularly called on by top criminal defense attorneys to assist on such matters. James also handles select family law matters for private clients and provides pro bono services for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
